The restaurant College of Umeå (Swedish: Restauranghögskolan vid Umeå universitet , English, Umeå University School of Restaurant and Culinary Arts ) is a college of restaurant and culinary arts at the University of Umea in the province of Västerbotten in Sweden .
The University of Umea in 1996. training in gastronomy and in 2002, the restaurant College became a separate unit within the University of Umeå. Since the late 1990s, the Swedish chef Gert Klotzke a visiting professor there. In 2005, one of Sweden’s most internationally renowned chefs and restaurateurs, Marcus Samuelsson as adjunct professor of the college appointed. Mathias Dahlgren-Matsalen, the Swedish Chef of the eponymous restaurant in Stockholm, holder of two Michelinsterre is an adjunct professor at the college.
